What are the chance of being cheated by an Ebay seller without feedback?

I’d like to get a cheaper phone from the auctions on Ebay.

I’d like to get a cheaper phone from the auctions on Ebay. However, I’ve noticed that prices are much lower when the seller has no feedback (obviously, buyers are afraid to bid). Anyway, do you think I have serious chances of being cheated if I bid on such autctions? Can you give me any advice so that I can protect myself from ‘sellers’ who want nothing but get the money and leave forever. Thanks!
